IMPLEMENTATION PLAN 

Angie Hendershot, project sponsor/University of Southern Mississippi (USM) Human Resource Business Partner, will communicate the staff position competency model with each and every staff employee as well as the supervisors of staff employees at USM. This model will be used to benefit the recruiting, selection/hiring, training, motivation, and promotion of all staff employees of USM. If proven successful, which will be determined by Angie Hendershot, USM will improve the selection of ideal staff employees, which, in effect, will improve the services provided by USM and increase the organization's overall success. 

EVALUATION PLAN 

Once the staff position competency model has been utilized, the competency model will be evaluated through quarterly surveys starting April 2019 (end of Q1). The survey will be distributed to all staff members and their supervisors in order to determine the effectiveness and accuracy of the competency model. Some survey questions may include:

1.) Are these competencies and behaviors relevant to my job?

2.) I believe these particular competencies and behaviors describe what it takes t be a staff employee of The University of Southern Mississippi (Rate 1-5).

3.) If I could add and/or take away a competency that is listed in the competency model it would be: ____________________.

Throughout the year, staff employee supervisors should be communicating with his/her staff employee(s) and asking him/her their opinion(s) of the competency model.
